With gouache and traditional watercolor, Melinda paints botanically accurate images of plants, flowers, vegetables and bird nests. Creative whimsy finds it's way too, with a radicchio butterfly and an otter on a surfboard.

Melinda and John live in Bodega Bay, CA where she is becoming a UC Certified Naturalist. Her work has been exhibited at the Huntington Museum in Pasadena, CA; Filoli in Woodacre, CA; Westminster Central Hall in London; and Point Reyes National Seashore.
